Founded in 2001, in the spirit of memorializing and giving back to our community, our volunteers plant, beautify and maintain the expansive gardens landscapes throughout the parish grounds.
The group meets on Saturday mornings from 10:30 – 1:00 during the Spring, and on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 during the Summer. Also there are flexible hours spent tending the gardens.
St. Lawrence Gardening Angels have helped design and build gardens throughout Shelton. Our 2012 project was to design and build Shelton’s first annual cutting garden, a 100 x 30 plot located on open space at the dog park.
Youth/Adult community service hours are available. Everyone is welcome to join us and learn about gardening and horticulture with our team.
